  • Naming Policy
  • The first step you will embark upon in the games of webmmo.com (Ray Flame) will be that of choosing an account name. The account name is not just a simple login, it also functions as your in-game identity and the nickname in the chat(for HC & BL)/forum system. The first impression other players have of you will be based on your name, so it's best to start off on the right foot. While choosing the perfect name for your account is generally left to your discretion, we ask that you refrain from using certain types of names. These types of names are detailed in the categories below. If an account name is found to have violated these policies we will have to delete the account due to the fact that the account name cannot be changed. (Note that this policy applies only to the account created after this policy is published.)
  • These policies also apply to castle names and guild names but with a slighter penalty: If a castle name or a guild’s name is found to violate these policies we will forcibly reset the castle/guild name.
  • Names which fall under the following categories are deemed to be violation:
  • • Racial/Ethnic/National
  • • Sexuality/Violence
  • • Sexual Orientation
  • • Obscene/Vulgar
  • • Harassing/Defamatory
  • • Advertising/Trademarks
  • • Inappropriate
  • Account Policy
  • In order to provide a free, fair and enjoyable gaming environment for all players, there are some strict limitations on account affairs.
  • First of all, you must not have multiple accounts to gain unfair advantage, which contains but not limited to following behaviors:
  • • Using multiple accounts to occupy each other’s castle to avoid being attacked by others
  • • Using multiple accounts to occupy each other’s castle to stock on resources
  • • Using multiple accounts to scout/mass attack others
  • • Other Inappropriate behaviors that are not mentioned above
  • Any violation of the terms might result in account penalties which vary from temporary account suspension to permanent account deletion.
  • Verification of multi-account affairs will be based on IP address and/or other technical factors.
  • Furthermore, you may not share your account with anyone else since you are liable for all activities conducted through the Account, including any activity which may be conducted by someone else who has the access to your account.
  • For Lords of Evil, any of the following actions between two game accounts with a same IP address will cause a permanent account deletion.
  • -attack each other
  • -joint defense
  • -resources transportation and transfer
  • -use one of the two accounts to scout someone and then use the other account to attack the player
  • For The Legacy of Holy Castle, any attacking action between two game accounts with a same IP address will cause a permanent account deletion.
  • Exemptions:
  • 1. Notifying game masters with sufficient proof to show that two certain accounts are used by two persons(such as you and your family member, you and your roommate, or you and your colleague) but with a same IP address before game masters detect the issue will be exempt from relevant penalties.
  • 2. Other possible exemptions that are not stated here.
  • Exploitation Policy
  • The games are created to provide an enjoyable, harmonious play field for all players. Therefore, any activity which is not made by game designers on purpose and which affects the economy, player castles or the world itself may have a tremendously negative impact on the potential enjoyment for all players. As such, we take the following issues very seriously and take swift and appropriate actions on all players involved in these malicious activities related to Ray Flame games:
  • • Bug Exploitation
  • • Abuse of Game Mechanism
  • • Unapproved Third Party Software
  • If a player is found to have violated the terms above, he/she may get a verbal warning or an account penalty which varies from temporary account suspension to permanent account deletion.
  • Harassment Policy
  • Words are powerful tools, and tools can cause great pain when used incorrectly. The use of inappropriate and offensive language in general, or against another player is not allowed in Ray Flame games. Language which falls under the following categories is deemed to be violation of the term:
  • • Racial/Ethnic
  • • Extreme Sexuality/Violence
  • • Real-Life Information and Threats
  • • National
  • • Sexual Orientation
  • • Zone/Area Disruption
  • • Obscene/Vulgar
  • • Harassing or Defamatory
  • • Major Religions Religious or Figures
  • • Illegal Drugs or Activities
  • • Spamming/Screen Brush
  • • Advertising
  • • Inappropriate
  • Any language that violates these categories will most likely result in verbal warning, temporary or permanent mute or an account penalty varies from temporary account suspension to permanent account deletion.
